The Gathering Place is located in Orlando, Florida. We meet at 8287 Curry Ford Rd.
Orlando, FL 32822 every Sunday morning at 9am & 11am and every Wednesday night at 7pm.
How should I dress?
Come in relaxed clothing or your Sunday best. There’s no formal dress code. We want you to come as you are and expect a great experience.
Is there childcare?
Absolutely! Our children’s ministry is a safe and secure environment. Even more than just childcare is it’s children’s church! Every week our children’s ministry team has some great stuff from God’s word for your children!

Howard Harrison and his wife, Shauna Harrison are the Lead Pastors of The Gathering Place.

The Gathering Place is a multicultural church, with an intentional vision of reconciliation to Christ and reconciliation between, cultures, races, nationalities and age groups. Our worship crosses the cultural divide & shoots straight to the heart of God through poured out worship & our leadership team reflects the many cultures of our community.
What should I expect?
You can expect to meet friendly faces the moment you drive into our parking lot! Before service, grab a cup of coffee in the lobby, meet a few people and head into the auditorium to join us in worship and a powerful message that we believe will encourage and inspire you!
How long are your services?
Our services can range from an hour to an hour and a half and includes inspiring music and an empowering message. We have many elements throughout the service that will help you connect with God and with others. We believe you'll have a refreshing worship experience. We can’t wait for you to join us!
Are you going to ask for money?
We do believe in the principle of tithing, giving, and generosity. As our guest though, there is no expectation for you to give. As you become a part of our church we believe an extension of worship is giving back to God for the work of the ministry.

Membership at The Gathering Place is acquired through your interest. You can become a member at the green CONNECT tent or you may be in service on a Sunday where Pastor Howard extends membership to everyone who wants to become a part of the vision & a part of the TGP family. You’ll be registered for New Members classes or you may do it here.
Do you have small groups?
Small groups are one of the best ways to build genuine community and be life-giving relationships. Make sure to visit the GREEN tent for more information on how to get connected to a small group.
Do you dedicate babies?
Yes! At The Gathering Place, we don’t baptize babies, we do what we call a “baby dedication”, which means that we pray over your child and counsel with you to ensure that you’re ready and willing to raise your child in the “fear and admonition” of God. We encourage all parents to be a part of the family of New Beginnings to ensure that they receive steady, solid biblical instruction and support in raising their children and learning how to live for Christ.
Do you do weddings at The Gathering Place?
Yes! As a member of TGP, you receive a discounted rate for services given for your wedding. Use of the facilities, pe-marital counseling and decorations if needed, are available.
