How Should We Relate To Our Past

What power does your past have in your life? The past CAN be a very powerful part of life. It’s a short little word and sadly has often tried to define us.

“There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Rom 8:1)

No condemnation implies NO imprisonment for the wrongs we’ve done, and even the wrong’s that have been done to us… God is able to sovereignly work His good from those painful hurts.

Many have felt like the walls of their lives have caved in. You look around you and seems like all there is are the ruins. I want to encourage you, God will use the past to empower and strengthen you and not define you!

May I remind you of something so very powerful? The Resurrection is not just a historical event, it’s not just a theology, it’s not just a day of celebration.

The resurrection is your identity! You have been raised to life, and you will be raised to life!
