You Are The Salt Of The Earth

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. Matt 5:13

If you grew up north, during the winter to melt the snow and ice of the streets they would put salt. Salt can melt the iciest heart.

Salt enhances what it touches. Salt makes fish salty. The fish never effects the salt, the salt effects the fish. The salt doesn’t taste fishy, the fish tastes salty.

Salt enhances the flavor. You can have the sweetest chocolate, but it has a pinch of salt inside of it. Whenever you put salt, it brings out the in flavor.

You are the salt of the earth. When you show up, life comes, let’s get the party started, you’ve arrived. You bring out the sweetness in life.

The only way that salt can be effective is that it has to develop a relationship with what it touches. All relationships are based on needs. The absence of relationship is the absence of influence. If you can’t relate to someone, you can’t influence them!
