I spent years trying to fix my life until it became a way of life. Meaningful change will take place when we grasp the fact that we cannot work our way out of shame.

Once we submit our lives to God, we can experience meaningful change. Only He could heal my life, and until I actually believed that, I was still lost in that dark hole, weary from trying to crawl to the top.

When we allow shame to fester in the darkness, its lies grow more and more believable, until they become truth to us!
